Asim Jahangir Seth
Chief Executive Officer - CEO
Asim Jahangir Seth is a seasoned banking and financial services executive with over 30 years of experience in corporate banking, credit risk, governance, and institutional transformation. Since March 2025 he is serving as the Chief Executive Officer of First Punjab Modaraba, where he is leading the organization's strategic turnaround, business diversification, and operational transformation. Prior to this role, he served as Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Banking Central at The Bank of Punjab, overseeing one of the bank's largest corporate portfolios and contributing significantly towards its building, recovery & corporate transformation. He has been with BOP since 2010. Prior to BOP he has worked with Faysal Bank, Meezan Bank, Société Générale, Al Baraka Islamic Bank, and Union Bank. His expertise encompasses corporate finance, syndicated lending, trade finance, portfolio rehabilitation, restructuring, and strategic business development. Mr. Seth holds an MBA (Finance) from the University of the Punjab and is recognized for his strategic leadership, sound risk management, and commitment to building high-performing, sustainable financial institutions.
Shiraz Butt
Chief Operating Officer - COO
Mr. Shiraz Butt is a finance and business executive with over 29 years of diversified experience across Pakistan’s leasing, investment banking, and Modaraba sectors.
He currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary of First Punjab Modaraba, where he leads strategy, operations, finance, and regulatory compliance.
He began his professional career in 1996 with a leasing company and transitioned to the Modaraba sector in 1999, where he has since held senior leadership roles driving business turnaround, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. His expertise spans financial management, credit risk, SME financing, NPL management, and corporate governance.
He holds a master’s degree in business administration and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Public Accountants (Australia), an Associate Member of the Institute of Financial Accountants (UK), and a Member of the Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan. He has also contributed in leadership roles within the NBFI & Modaraba Association of Pakistan.
Zeeshan Ahmed
Chief Financial Officer - CFO
Mr. Zeeshan Ahmed is responsible for overseeing the financial management and strategic planning functions of First BOP Modaraba. He leads the Company's finance and accounts operations, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, regulatory reporting, taxation, and financial planning to ensure sound financial governance and sustainable growth. With extensive experience in financial management and the non-banking financial sector, Mr. Zeeshan Ahmed ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal financial controls. He provides strategic financial insights to support informed decision-making, optimize resource utilization, and strengthen the Company's financial performance. Through his commitment to transparency, operational excellence, and prudent financial management, Mr. Zeeshan Ahmed contributes significantly to achieving the long-term strategic objectives of First BOP Modaraba.
Saqib Shamim
Business Head
Mr. Saqib Shamim is an experienced Islamic finance and business management professional with over 25 years of diversified experience in Modaraba and leasing sectors.
He holds an MBA in Banking & Finance and an Islamic Banking Certification from NIBAF, supporting his expertise in Islamic finance and banking operations. Throughout the career, he has developed extensive expertise in Islamic financing, business development, corporate governance, operations and regulatory compliance. He has successfully led business growth initiatives, structured Shari’ah-compliant financing solutions, managed portfolio growth and recoveries.
Ashir Jailani
Head CAD & Risk
Ashir Jailani is responsible for overseeing the credit administration function and ensuring the effective implementation of the Company's risk management framework. The role encompasses the management of financing documentation, collateral administration, credit monitoring, regulatory compliance, and internal controls to safeguard the Company's assets and maintain portfolio quality. With extensive experience in credit administration and risk management, the incumbent ensures that financing operations comply with internal policies, Prudential Regulations, and applicable regulatory requirements. By promoting sound governance, prudent risk assessment, and operational excellence, Ashir Jailani supports sustainable business growth while contributing to the overall financial stability and strategic objectives of First BOP Modaraba.
Maqsood Ahmad
Head SAM
Maqsood Ahmad is responsible for leading the Special Asset Management (SAM) function at First BOP Modaraba, with a primary focus on managing non-performing assets, recovery operations, and portfolio rehabilitation. He oversees the formulation and execution of recovery strategies, legal coordination, restructuring initiatives, and settlement arrangements to maximize recoveries while minimizing credit losses. With extensive experience in asset recovery and special asset management, he ensures that recovery activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. Through effective stakeholder coordination, strategic decision-making, and proactive portfolio management, Maqsood Ahmad contributes to improving asset quality, strengthening the Company's financial position, and supporting the long-term strategic objectives of First BOP Modaraba.

Sikandar Surfaraz is the Manager Information Technology at First Punjab Modaraba with over 30 years of experience in information technology, enterprise systems, and digital transformation.
He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and specializes in IT infrastructure, ERP solutions, database administration, software development, networking, and information security. He is responsible for managing the organization’s IT operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of technology systems. With extensive expertise in implementing innovative technology solutions, he is committed to enhancing operational efficiency, supporting business growth, and driving digital innovation while maintaining robust and secure IT services.
